112:dB™ 

112:dB™ is the medium sized valve powered model in [act:eve] ™ :dB loudspeaker range. It is suitable for reproduction of music at average 100dB or less pressure level, measured at common listening position of 3 to 4meters from the loudspeakers. They can produce much louder peaks.

Major characteristics of 112:dB™ active loudspeaker are:

  • frequency response 20Hz to 20kHz

  • gold plated unbalanced RCA female socket and XLR(balanced) male socket inputs and + / - 2.5dB control in 0.5dB steps for tweeter and bass via two sealed stepped attenuators featuring gold plated contacts and audio grade resistors; input sensitivity 1.5V pink noise signal for 112dB SPL at 1m, stereo pair 

  • one 25mm (1") soft fabric dome, neodymium magnet driver 

  • one mineral filled polypropylene cone driver, OD 170mm (6.5/8")

  • one long throw long fiber pulp cone driver OD 308mm (12") 

  • one class A transistor amplifier powering tweeter above 4069kHz 

  • one class A valve amplifier powering bass-midrange from 92Hz to 4096kHz

  • one class AB transistor amplifier powering low bass below 92Hz 

  • one active crossover 

  • exotic wood veneer

  • four steel spiked feet and Nylon6 protectors for wood floors

q:ter™

[q:ter]™ is the smallest FET powered loudspeaker 
in the range, suitable for stereo or surround sound applications. 

Very linear frequency respose with glorious tonal colour of larger models. An addition of [deep:note]™ LF active loudspeaker can 
improve very low frequency performance,
especially in surround sound application.

Major characteristics of [q:ter]™ active loudspeaker are:

  • Reproduces music at average 96dB
    (or less) pressure level.

  • frequency response 50Hz to 20kHz

  • gold plated unbalanced RCA female 
    socket. Optional trim: XLR (balanced )male
    socket inputs

  • input sensitivity 0.7V pink noise signal
    for 104dB SPL at 1m, stereo pair

108:dB™ is the most compact valve powered model in [act:eve] ™ :dB loudspeaker range. It is suitable for reproduction of music at average 96dB or less pressure level, measured at common listening position of 3 to 4meters from the loudspeakers. They can produce much louder peaks.

Major characteristics of 108:dB™ active loudspeaker are:

  • frequency response 20Hz to 20 kHz

  • gold plated unbalanced RCA female socket and XLR(balanced) male socket inputs and + / - 2.5dB control in 0.5dB steps for tweeter and bass via two sealed stepped attenuators featuring gold plated contacts and audio grade resistors; input sensitivity 1.5V pink noise signal for 108dB SPL at 1m, stereo pair 

  • one 25mm (1") soft fabric dome, neodymium magnet driver 

  • one mineral filled polypropylene cone driver, OD 140mm (5.5")

  • one long throw long fiber pulp cone driver OD 210mm (8")

110:dB™ is the most compact model in [act:eve] ™ :dBloudspeaker range. It is suitable for reproduction of music at average 96dB or less pressure level, measured at common listening position of 3 to 4 meters from the loudspeakers. They can produce much louder peaks. 

Major characteristics of 110:dB™ active loudspeaker are: 

  • frequency response 20Hz to 20kHz

  • gold plated unbalanced RCA input (see trim options below for XLR); input sensitivity 1.5V pink noise signal for 110dB SPL at 1m, stereo pair 

  • one 25mm (1") soft fabric dome, neodymium magnet driver

  • one mineral filled polypropylene cone driver, OD 140mm (5.5") 

  • one long throw long fiber pulp cone driver OD 210mm (8")

  • three class AB amplifiers, each designed to suit respective driver 

  • one active crossover, crossover points at 13Hz, 92Hz, 4096Hz. 

  • one 500VA torroid transformer

  • four steel spiked feet and Nylon6 protectors for wood floors 

  • weight unpacked 38kg each, size (H, W, D) 1056mm, 223mm, 396mm, or in imperial units 85lbs and 42"x9"x15.6"
